External Complaint

• If this is an external complaint, citizens are encouraged to speak directly with a shift supervisor about their dissatisfaction and then fill out the complaint form, if necessary. 
• If the complaint originated from a field service contact, shift supervisors can be reached by contacting the Red River Regional Dispatch Center at (701) 451-7660 and request the phone call be transferred to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office field shift supervisor.  
• If the complaint originated from a jail contact, shift supervisors can be reached by contacting the Cass County Jail at (701) 271-2900 and request to speak with the shift supervisor. 
• If determined appropriate to file a formal complaint, please utilize the provided template to file your complaint.  This form is provided with the understanding that you authorize the Cass County Sheriff’s Office to conduct an internal investigation to determine if a violation of law or departmental policies occurred.
