The Cass County Commission unanimously approved the appointment of Greg Larson as Cass County recorder during a commission meeting Wednesday, January 7.
Larson is an attorney practicing in the areas of municipal law and real estate work over the last two decades. He will assume his duties as county recorder on January 20.
“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Larson as our Cass County Recorder,” said Tracy Peters, assistant administrator and human resources director. “His experience, leadership, and commitment to public service will be an asset to Cass County and the citizens we serve.”
An interview panel including Commission Chair Tony Grindberg, Commissioner Jim Kapitan, County Administrator Robert Wilson, Assistant Administrator and Human Resources Director Tracy Peters, and County Recorder Deb Moeller interviewed finalists and recommended Larson’s appointment to the commission.
