Did you know that the Cass County Recorder’s Office provides two ways in which the general public and businesses can access the real estate documents recorded with their office? If you or anyone you know would like to view or print documents such as deeds, mortgages, easements, constructions liens, plats, restrictive covenants, or any other real estate document recorded with the Cass County Recorder's Office, they offer the following options:
- Public Computers - The Recorder's Office has three public computers available in their vault area during regular office hours. They are happy to teach researchers how to use their software. Viewing the documents is free and document copies cost $1 per page.
- North Dakota Recorders Information Network (NDRIN) – This is an internet-based subscription service located at www.ndrin.com to which the Recorder's Office (and 49 other ND counties) export all recorded documents making them available for online research, viewing, and printing. There are two access options:
- 30-day Recurring Subscription – This $30 monthly option renews automatically and can be manually cancelled at any time to avoid further charges. Viewing documents is free and document prints cost $1 per page.
- Day Pass – As of January 2023, infrequent NDRIN users now have the option to choose a day pass for $7.00. This day pass will provide the same benefits as the 30-day subscription, but access will expire 24 hours after purchase. The day pass will not renew automatically. Like the 30-day subscription, there is a $1 per page fee if you choose to print documents.
