The Cass County Finance Office has confirmed that absentee ballots for the General Election in November are being mailed this week to voters who have previously applied for a ballot. Voters can expect to find ballots in mailboxes by the end of this week or at some point next week.

October 16 is the last day that the Finance Office suggests returning an application via mail; after this date, voters can deposit the application in the secure drop box located outside of the County Courthouse. Please put applications into an envelope labeled “Finance Office” before submitting into the drop box.

If a voter applied for an absentee ballot, but has not received a ballot by October 12, please contact the Finance Office to make sure one is being delivered. October 30 is the last day that ballots will be mailed to voters.
