Cass County Engineer
Keith Berndt was hired as the County Engineer for Cass County in 1992. Mr. Berndt has a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University in Fargo and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He is a Registered Professional Engineer.
Mr. Berndt's prior professional experience includes 9 years of active military duty as an officer in the Navy Civil Engineers Corps. He continues to serve in the Navy Reserve. He has taught several construction contract courses at North Dakota State University and the University of North Dakota.
He is active in the National and North Dakota Association of County Engineers.
He was raised on a farm near Breckenridge, Minnesota. He is married to Carol Berndt. They have four children.
