Sheriff Paul D. Laney began his law enforcement career in 1989. He was elected and sworn in as Sheriff of Cass County on January 2, 2007 where he has served since.

Sheriff Laney firmly believes in servant leadership philosophy and considers it an absolute privilege to serve the people of the community where he was raised.
