Comprehensive Plan

The Cass County Board of Commissioners reviewed the draft of the Comprehensive Plan at their regular meeting on February 7, 2005.

Adoption and First Reading

The adoption of the Plan and the first reading to adopt Chapter Six as an ordinance occurred at the regular Cass County Commission meeting on February 22, 2005.

Adoption and Second Reading

The second reading to adopt Chapter Six as an ordinance occurred at the regular Cass County Commission meeting on March 21, 2005.

The Comprehensive Plan can be considered the blueprint or framework for development in the County. The policies that are created in the process of writing a comprehensive plan shape the growth of the County. The primary goal of the Comprehensive Plan is to identify current and emerging issues faced by the County and address these issues by developing goals, objectives, and policies to deal with these issues.
