Precinct Search

Click here to access the Precinct Search

This option allows you to search for your voting location using your street address and to view a map and report of the polling location containing important information about election day.  For more detailed information about navigating around the internet mapping application see the WebFusion Manual Contents.

If the Search by Precinct window is not already open when the application opens do the following:

Select Search by Precinct from the Search Menu.

In the text box enter your house number followed by a space and street name or number.  You do not need to enter the entire address to retrieve “hits”.  Enter as little as possible while still giving enough to narrow down the responses.

To search for an address on a numbered street such as 1234 1st Street North, enter 1234 1 and click the GO button.  All possible matches will be displayed in the table at the bottom of the screen:

Tabs forward to the next page.

Tabs back to the previous page.

Find your address in the list and click:

A Single Feature dialog box will open and display voting  precinct information for that address.

NOTE:  Expand this dialog box by clicking the small (S),  medium (M) or large (L) radio buttons.

From the Available Reports dropdown you can choose to view either a Precinct Report or a Precinct Map of your voting location.  The report/map  will open in Adobe Acrobat.  If your Adobe Acrobat is an earlier version than 4.0, you may have trouble viewing the reports.

To print the report/map, choose File>Print from the Adobe Acrobat menu.  To save a copy of the report or map for printing or emailing later, click on File> Save As.  Browse to the directory location you want to save the .pdf file to.  The report will be named precinctreport(1).pdf  and the map will be the same as the precinct number by default.  Change the name if you need to.

To search for an address on a named street such as 1400 ELM ST N, you only have to enter the first few characters of the street name after the house number.  Enter 1400 ELM and click the GO button.  All possible matches will be displayed in the table at the bottom of the screen as in the example above.

Find you address in the list and click:  to view information about your voting precinct.
