Commission District 5 

Brief Description:
This district covers most of rural Cass County outside the cities of Fargo and West Fargo and the immediate surrounding area.

Commission District 5 Legal Description:
The area of Cass County not included in districts 1, 2, 3, or 4 including the following townships Rochester, Page, Dows, Hunter, Bell, Kinyon, Noble, Lake, Rich, Erie, Arthur, Gunkel, Gardner, Wiser, Cornell, Ayr, Empire, Amenia, Rush River, Berlin, Harwood, Tower, Buffalo, Wheatland, Casselton, Harmony, Raymond, Hill, Howes, Gill, Everest, Durbin, Clifton, Eldred, Walburg, Maple River, Addison, Warren, Stanley, Pontiac, Highland, Watson, Leonard, Davenport, Normanna, and Pleasant and the area of Reed Township that lies west of the Sheyenne River and south of 19th Avenue North, Mapleton Township with the exception of sections 1, 2, 11, and 12.   District 5 also includes the cities of Page, Hunter, Grandin, Arthur, Gardner, Tower City, Buffalo, Ayr, Amenia, Argusville, Casselton, Mapleton, Harwood, Relies Acres, North River, Alice, Leonard, Davenport, Kindred, Horace, Briarwood, Oxbow, that part of West Fargo lying east of Center Street and North of Main Avenue, the area of of Fargo lying west of Interstate 29, north of Main Avenue, and south of the Burlington Northern right of way, and 19th Avenue North.  District 5 also includes an area of south Fargo bounded by Interstate 29 on the west, 25th Street South on the East between 32nd Avenue South and 40th Avenue South and Interstate 29 on the West and the Red river on the Red River on the east south of  40th Avenue South.
