Keith Berndt, PE
Cass County Engineer

Keith Berndt was hired as the County Engineer for Cass County in 1992.  Mr. Berndt holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from North Dakota State University and a Master of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville.  He is a Registered Professional Engineer.

Mr. Berndt's prior professional experience includes nine years of active military duty as an Officer in the Navy Civil Engineer Corp.  He continues to serve in the Navy Reserve.  Mr. Berndt has taught courses at the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University and currently teaches construction management courses at North Dakota State University.

Mr. Berndt was raised on a farm near Breckinridge, Minnesota, he currently resides in Fargo, North Dakota with his wife Carol and four children.
